Parent Learning

It is no doubt that the best learning for any student is a three way partnership between the parent, teacher and student. Parents play a pivotal role in the learning and development of their child. Any work conducted at school needs to be backed up and revised at home. Parents are an integral part of this process.
So how can you help?
At Heaydon Learning we provide parent classes in local areas. Our seminars are one off classes that are hands on and teach you the essentials to helping your child at home.

Host a Seminar

You can host a seminar.  All you need to do is invite other parents to your house.  After that it’s up to you to put your feet up and let  Heaydon Learning show you how you could help your child at home.

As part of our seminars we will give all hosts and guests necessary resources and materials that complement the seminar.  These seminars are hands on and informative.  It will allow you and your guests to have an open discussion about your children’s learning and abilities and get advice from our professional teachers.

From there it’s up to you to take these new and learnt skills to work with your child at home.

Wouldn’t you like to help your child more easily?

Who knows! You may save yourselves thousands of dollars in tutoring fees and a whole lot of arguments at homework time.

Individual Programs

Some of our children are more special than others and need that little bit extra help that you don’t seem to be able to offer to them.  If that’s the case an individual home program is just what you need.
Get yourself educated!
It’s easy!!!

  • Step 1: One of our highly qualified staff will assess your child in your area of concerns.
  • Step 2: Lauren will write an individual program based on the assessment.
  • Step 3: A meeting will be arranged for the parent learning to begin and the child’s individual program explained.
  • Step 4: You can help your child the right way in the comfort of your own home
